Service: Chapter Service

2017-2018 Chapter Service

To meet their chapter service obligation, members must participate in at least one chapter service activity each year (from May 1st to April 30thl).

Each year, some of our chapter service work will support our chapter service focus for the year. Our chapter service focus for 2017-2018 will be determined by the chapter membership in the fall of 2017.

Other chapter service work supports organizations in our school and community who call upon our chapter to lend a hand.

Members have the option of using any one of the chapter service opportunities listed below to fulfill their annual chapter service obligation. Members who complete more than one chapter service activity may count the additional service as their  individual service project.

To begin, select an event from the list below and complete the following steps:

Step # 1: Let People Know

  • Email the contact person(s) for the event AND email Mrs. Juster ( to let her know which event you've decided to help out.

Step # 2: Document Your Service

  • Download and print out the Service Verification Form and take it with you to the event. Have the supervising adult sign this.
  • Take a photo of the event - documenting your service.

Step # 3: Get Credit for Your Service

  • Once you have completed your service, bring the completed Service Verification Form (and, if this was an off-campus event, the LHS Parent Permission and Student Acknowledgement Transportation Agreement Form to Mrs. Juster, Room 219.
