Maintain a cumulative weighted grade point average of 3.75 (Chapter Bylaws: Article X, Sections 1 & 2).
Character & Leadership
Abide by the Life of a Lancer Code of Conduct (Chapter Bylaws: Article VI, Section 1).
Publicize and promote chapter projects in a positive manner (Chapter Bylaws: Article VI, Section 1).
Maintain regular and timely email communication with the adviser (Chapter Bylaws: Article VI, Section 1).
Meet with adviser for periodic evaluation of commitment to chapter service and individual service projects (Chapter Bylaws: Article VI, Section 1).
Service & Leadership
Pay Membership Dues (Chapter Bylaws: Article VI, Section 2)
Each member is responsible for a one-time membership dues of $10.00
Attend all chapter meetings (Chapter Bylaws: Article VI, Section 1).
Members must prepare for meetings by reading the minutes and agenda provided.
Only members with an excused absence will be offered the opportunity to fulfill this obligation outside of the meeting time.
Serve Our School and Community
Complete an Individual Service Portfolio & Project -This portfolio reveals how each member is meeting the following obligations:
Maintain level of service (Chapter Bylaws: Article IX, Section 7)Members must maintain the level of service reflected in member's candidate form and approved by the faculty council when selected for membership.
Individual Service Project (Chapter Bylaws: Article IX, Sections 4 - 7) Members must create, participate in and complete an individual service project.
Participate in our Chapter Service Project (Chapter Bylaws: Article IX,Sections 1-3) Each year, the chapter identifies a need within the school or community and then designs a Chapter Service Project to fulfill this need.
